Grenada has a citizenship by investment program that offers foreign investors numerous facilities and advantages, with this program investors along with their families will become citizens of Grenada. First of all to begin the process of applying for your visa for investment in Grenada you must meet a series of requirements that are demanded by the island of Grenada which are:

  • The investor must be of legal age
  • Must demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to make the required investment, and prove the legal origin of these funds.
  • The principal applicant and his dependents must not suffer from contagious diseases.
  • Must not have a criminal record.
  • Must not be considered a potential national security risk.
  • Not have been refused a visa to a country where Grenadian nationals can enter without a visa.
  • The principal applicant and his or her dependents must not suffer from contagious diseases and/or serious health problems
  • Not be involved in any activity that may bring Grenada into disrepute.

To qualify for the Grenada Golden Visa you must make one of the following investments:

Investment In A Grenada Government Approved Real Estate Project.

The investor must make a minimum investment of US 350,000 in a real estate project approved by the Government of Grenada, this amount includes the entire family(regardless of the number of members).

  • Original or certified copy of Birth Certificate

  • Bank reference letter
  • Six passport size photos
  • Statement of source of funds
  • Certificate of Authenticity
  • Affidavit of support for dependents
  • Real estate purchase and sale agreement
  • Proof of payment of non-refundable processing and due diligence fees.

Donation to the Grenada National Transformation Fund

A non-refundable contribution of US 150,000 must be made to the National Transformation Fund (NTF) by the investor, US 200,000 for a family of 2 to 4 members and finally for each additional dependent family member an extra contribution of US 25,000.

  • Confirmation of Investment / Escrow Agreement
  • Proof of payment of non-refundable processing and due diligence fees)
  • Process for applying for the Grenada Golden Visa
  • Request an appointment on the official website. Waiting time for appointments between 1 and 3 weeks.
  • Legalization of all documents. The time will depend on the amount of documents to be legalized, but in general the process is very fast.
  • Attending the appointment and submitting the documents. The appointment usually lasts about 30 minutes.
  • Opening a bank account in Granada. This process will depend on the bank.
  • Application for citizenship. It can last between 30 minutes and one hour.
  • Evaluation of documents.
  • Receipt of approval letter.
  • Citizenship approval. Duration between 4 to 5 months.
